Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to submit through the forms on this website — for example your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the details of your inquiry (such as the name of a deceased relative for genealogy research, or your at-need or pre-need service questions). We also use the free grave locator; searches you run there are processed to return results and to protect the service from abuse, and are not linked to your identity.
Like most websites, our servers automatically record limited technical data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request — used for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the service you requested.
- To send you a confirmation of your submission and, where applicable, follow-up correspondence about your request.
- To maintain accurate cemetery, interment, and correspondence records as required for our operations and by New Jersey law.
- To protect the website and our staff from spam, fraud, and abuse.
Payments
Payments for genealogy research are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your payment information is described in its own privacy policy.
Service providers
Your submissions are stored and processed by trusted service providers that host our website, database, and email delivery (for example, our website hosting platform and our email delivery provider). These providers process your information only on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Burial records and genealogy
Historical interment records — such as the name of a deceased person, the date of interment, and the section and lot of burial — are part of the cemetery's permanent records and may be provided through our grave locator and genealogy research service. These records concern deceased individuals and are maintained as a matter of historical and public record. If you have a concern about a specific record, please contact our office.
Retention
Correspondence and service records are retained as long as needed for the purpose they were collected and to meet our legal and operational record-keeping obligations. Cemetery and interment records are permanent.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete personal contact information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from any newsletter or mailing, by contacting the office. Note that we cannot delete records we are required to keep, such as interment and transaction records.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
